So... We play Jazz.

Our sets usually cover a mix of the sub-genres within the jazz world right from Ellington's "Take The 'A' Train"to Snarky Puppy's "Celebrity".  The band has always felt at home among latin bossa numbers so tunes like Horace Silver's "Song For My Father" and Herbie Hancock's "Watermelon Man" are regularly visited.  Recently we've enjoyed taking on funkier songs like "Chameleon" and Jaco Pastorius' "The Chicken".  Recognising the need to chill out and sit back in the music, tunes like Errol Garner's "Misty" and the classic "All Blues" keep our sets balanced and interesting.

Our Kendal Jazz Club performance was described as having "splendid ensemble work throughout".
